Wishes Ends 14 Year Run at Magic Kingdom

Wishes was the long running fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. It debuted on October 9, 2003 and ran until May 11, 2017. Wishes will have a place in the hearts of many, having a 14 year run and providing lots of happy memories. A new show, Happily Ever After replaces Wishes, and begins on May 12, 2017. Wonder how long of a run it will have!!! But one great decision Disney has made is that Tinkerbell continues on from Wishes to Happily Ever After!!! 😉 The recording above was done from the California Grill Observation Deck high atop the Contemporary. The unique video below was recorded a week before the final Wishes show, and gives you a quick close-up view of Tinkerbell and her flight. ENJOY!!!
